Q. I want to have an emergency Muslim Marraige/Nikah tomorrow. Can you assist me?

Q. Can I have Khullah / Divorce urgently from my husband?

Q. I live in Leeds Yorkshire, will your Nikah services assist me in my Muslim marriage in Leeds? 
And what are your fees please? 
 
A. Our East London Mosque, based on Malford Grove, South Woodford, East London, E18 2DX, provide Muslim marriage Nikah ceremonies as well as divorce services to Muslim couples living across the UK. If you provide us with your full address including your postcode, we will send you our Imam’s fixed quote, for conducting your Nikah ceremony in Leeds.


Q. I wish to get married (muslim marriage/nikah) with my male fiancé, but I have not got two witnesses or wali who will attend the ceremony. Can you assist us?
 
A. Yes, Inshallah our Nikah's in East London Mosque can assist you and provide witnesses and wali (please discuss and agree the fees charged for providing the witnesses prior to the ceremony). Please notify us when booking your ceremony that you will need a witness, as finding a suitable witness would on average take 4-5 days. Please note that we require an additional 50% non-refundable deposit (approximately £30) for the witnesses as once hired, they cannot be cancelled. 

Q. What are the requirements for a Muslim marriage Nikah Ceremony at your East London Mosque? 

A. Please attend our Mosque located on Malford Grove, South Woodford, East London, E18 2DX, with the following: Bride, Groom, two witnesses and brides guardian 
(Father, Grandfather or Uncle) after booking your appointment and after paying the booking fee. 


Q. What is the number of guests we can bring to the East London Mosque?

A. The maximum number of guests is 7 (which includes Bride and Groom). If you want to bring more guest than 7, please let us know in advance so that our Imam can quote the additional fees for setting up extra seats. 
Please note that children below 10 years of age are not permitted. 


Q. I live in Central London. How much will you charge for a myself having a Muslim marriage ceremony in my flat in London W2 area.

A. For ceremonies in your house/flat, hall or restaurant, please provide your full address with the full post code of the venue where you want the Nikah ceremony to take place . Please note that our Imam will be able to quote his Nikah service fee for your house Nikah, once we have received your full address and postcode. Please note, there will be a higher deposit for Nikah ceremonies conducted at your home address, restaurant or wedding venue, as our Imam will attend these venues in a cab.


Q, When should we book our Nikah Ceremony at your Mosque?

A. Most of our clients book their Nikah Ceremonies a least 5 days to 2 weeks in advance (most of our clients bring their own wedding witnesses).

Q. I want to get a divorce from my husband, do you provide Khullah divorce services? 

A. Our East London Shariah Council, based on Malford Grove, South Woodford, East London, E18 2DX, provides a fast Khullah divorce certificates for our clients, who are seeking a speedy dissolution of their marriages. We can assist you in Divorce & Khullah certificates issuing via our sister organisation, (East London Shariah Council) in situations where the marriage has broken down irretrievably. 

Q. After booking my Nikah ceremony, is there anything else I need to do?

A. You need the following :-
1) Two adult male Muslim witnesses who should attend your wedding and also should sign the Muslim Marriage Certificate/ Nikah Certificate. The two witnesses should bring proof of their identity, to show to our Imam, on the wedding date. The proof of identity could be a valid Passport OR a valid Photocard Driving Licence.
2) The bride's "Walli" ( bride's guardian), usually her father (or uncle or brother) should also attend the ceremony to sign the "Muslim Nikah Certificate". Walli's attendance is in addition to two witnesses' attendance on that day.
3) Before the Nikah date, the couple should also discuss and mutually agree regarding the "amount of MAHAR", as the " MAHAR" sum is recorded on the "Muslim Nikah Certificate".

Q. What is MAHAR or sum of MAHAR and who gives whom?
A. MAHAR is a gift of good value which is offered by a Muslim bridegroom to his future wife before or at the time of Nikah ceremony according to his financial status.

Q. How long will it take to perform/complete Nikah (Muslim marriage) by your Imam?
A. It takes approximately 55-65 minutes to conduct the Muslim marriage ceremony in our East London Mosque.


Q. What is your fee for performing a Nikah?
A. Please contact us for more information on our fees for conducting a Muslim marriage Nikah in the Mosque or any other venue.

Q. We have got difficulty in bringing two witnesses and brides Walli. Can you help us?
A.  YES, we can assist our clients and will provide witnesses and Walli to attend the ceremony. Please notify us 4-5 in advanced if you need Witnesses or Walli or both. 
Q. I live in Edgeware Road London, W2 area, will the Imam come to my house to perform my Muslim marriage?
A. Please note our Imam will attend your house after you have made your appointment and will conduct your Nikah in your house in London W2 area. Please note out East London Nikah services covers Greater London and all parts of the UK. We will request a 50% deposit of the total fee for a Muslim Marriage ceremony in your house/flat or hall or restaurant. 
Please ask for our Imam's fee code for a Nikah in a house, hall or a hotel.

Q. Will your Imam perform the Islamic Nikah according to "Shariah Law" and will he give the Muslim Marriage Certificate at the same time?
A. Yes. Our Imam, will attend your house/flat, hall or restaurant and will perform your Islamic Nikah total compliance with Sharria Law
& Sunnah (tradition of the prophet.) He will also issue the couple with an appropriate Muslim Marriage Certificate also called "Nikah Nama".
